Voting third party not only allows me to vote in favor of actual policies I support but helps break the two party system if enough of us vote third party.

One option is a mandate. Two options are an ultimatum. It takes at least three options to be a choice.

The DNC is already rigging the next election and implementing policies which allow them to suppress third parties forever. The National Popular Vote Interstate Compact is exactly that.
