We have no leaders. The only ones who see them that way are people who need parental figures.

Elected officials are our employees. We hire them to do a job. To represent our interests. Campaigns are job interviews.

Not only that but they are temp employees. Their contracts come up for renewal every few years. That is when we should be looking at whether they have done their jobs or not, if we have not paid attention while they were supposed to be doing it in the first place.

Those contracts can be canceled. Employees can be fired through recall elections. I’m not talking about the president but all others.

If you see elected officials as leaders, you’re really just a cult member. Nothing more.
