Updates and Corrections- Kursk and Nordstream

Ukraine admits taking Russian civilians hostage and basically holding them for ransom.
My correction on numbers involved.
The alleged goal is creating a buffer zone. This could have been done through diplomacy but there would be no reason for Russia to believe any agreement with Ukraine.
German investigators find Ukrainians guilty of Nordstream attack with Polish assistance.
Germany has suspended military assistance to Ukraine for this year.
