The problem I have with identity politics is that people are cultists. They vote for a name, not policies. All names are cults. Trump, Hillary, Bernie, Republican, Democrat, doesn’t matter.

They will vote for the name and ignore any atrocities committed in the name of the cult, while vilifying the same atrocity if done in the name of a different cult.
