Some of those are sad.
I've been known as the "nice guy" type my whole life. Bad experiences made me question it more than once, then come to terms with the fact that's who I am and accept it. So I am still the "nice guy" type.
That does not mean a doormat.
Up to a time in my 20's, I would wait for a date for quite some time.
Now, especially with cell phones, I will wait 15-20 minutes after the arranged time. If they don't show or call, I'm gone. After that, I'm not answering my phone. They already showed my value to them and most likely how they treat others as well. Not doing it.
Nor will I ever ask a woman on a second date if they treat wait staff with disrespect.
