It is not only the far right we have to combat. It is also the Establishment center. Corporate neoliberals.

We find more facts and questioning of the narrative in general on independent media than corporate media. Corporate media is not at all focused on informing people of facts. Their goal is to get ratings and support the view of their advertisers. Most of the time, how they sell is by fear. Fear sells. Like fear of the far right.

Russiagate is the obvious prime example. Completely opinion-driven with no facts involved. Actual quote from the Mueller Report (page 10 of the pdf) which you will never hear on MSM, “the investigation established that certain actions or events occurred. A statement that the investigation did not establish particular facts does not mean there was no evidence of those facts.” (Bold mine.)

That is the purpose of an “investigation”!!! To determine that there is evidence to confirm facts!!!!!

I call people out every single day who share articles promoting unnamed anonymous sources offering no evidence yet cited as fact by MSM.

The media will keep doing what gets views, clicks, shares. I point out to people that if they share articles or videos while claiming to disagree, what they have just done is get that source more traffic, more advertising revenue. So tomorrow you will see even more of the same.

Hence, there’s no point in trying to demand more of corporate media. Instead, demand less. As in, stop watching, stop reading, stop listening, stop sharing. Turn off corporate media completely. The only way they will pay attention is when they stop getting paid. It is up to us to seek more reliable sources of information.
