Actually they are hit as hard and harder. 10,000 family farms go out of business every year. That does not really mean they sell their land. I drive through rural areas and see many former farms (hundreds) lying dormant. They just cannot afford the cost of farming because capitalists force them to operate at a loss.

If you impact incomes in urban areas, you decrease how much consumers spend, which impacts farmers incomes.
